Xiaomi recently started rolling out the HyperOS 3.1 update in the Chinese market. The update is based on Android 16 and brings several improvements in UI, privacy, and overall performance. This new version is believed to be an enhancement or refinement of HyperOS 3, providing a better user experience. It’s based on Android 16, so security will be improved and this update will be more user-friendly.
Some of the features you’ll see include “Super Xiao AI” activated by pressing the power key, which will support continuous conversation. A single click on the status bar will allow you to move from the bottom of any page to the top. The Gesture navigation animations will be smoother, and the real-time location will be more accurate. You’ll also get the option to transfer app data, meaning you’ll be able to transfer app data from one phone to another.
The problem of failures during long recordings has been fixed. The duplicated text in recordings has been fixed. Super Xiao Ai Island will support even more apps, showing the file transfer process in real time. Furthermore, the media player’s glowing effect and process bar will be even more attractive than before.
